"Meggie leaned her head against his shoulder, and they both remained as silent as the stars above them...It was the best of all nights."
This is a drawing of Meggie and Farid from Cornelia Funke's Inkspell. My sister applied for their fanlisting, and she wanted an image for the layout that didn't show their faces because the movie is coming out next year and she didn't want any "preconceived notions" about what they look like. So, this is the final product! I was torn between this title and "Pieces of the Sky." I went with this title, because that's the name of the chapter in which this scene takes place. The other title would have fit not only with the pretty background (which, incidentally, was taken from a wallpaper at Visination.com [link] ), but also because Farid says that Meggie's eyes look like "little pieces of the sky." Here's the drawing without the background: [link] Inkheart, Inkspell (c) Cornelia Funke P.S. if you are a fan of Meggie and Farid, please consider joining the fanlisting: [link] |

Mo:Why do you always run around without pants?

Humans are the only animals that have the will to go against nature. It is how nature had intended for us to be.
